Vagharshag Kibarian’s ottoman passport.

Vagharshag Kibarian was born in Shabin Karahisar, in 1888. His father, Vramshabouh, was the serving Armenian priest of the city. Vagharshag left Shabin Karahisar and settled down in Constantinople, where he lived until the establishment of the Kemalist government. Then he emigrated to Paris, where in 1934 he married Lousaper Tatoulian. Lousaper was a native of Ordou, and the only member of her family who had survived the Genocide. She had later found refuge in France.
