Hagop Derounian’s Lebanese identity paper, bearing the date 1925.

The Derounian family hailed from the village of Kishifli in Marash (west of the city of Marash). The Gemiksizian and Madjarian family hailed from the city of Marash. All three families permanently left their homeland in 1920. They settled down in Lebanon in the early 1920s.

Hagop Derounian’s Lebanese identity paper, bearing the date 1925, and featuring Hagop’s photograph. The document lists Hagop’s birthplace as Marash, his date of birth as 1890, and his father’s name as Avedis. Although his mother’s name was Gadar, the document erroneously lists it as Fedor, which was a mistake. Hagop died in Bourj Hammoud in 1982.
